1. – Online Registration has ended. You can still register in person at Lumpy’s (a private club) Friday, September 21st.


2. - Friday (tomorrow) 6pm - 10pm you can still pre-register in person at Lumpy's downtown. 145 west Pierpont Ave (you an also weigh in at the early bird weigh in)


3. - Open divisions - some people have asked about having an intermediate and beginner open division ( in addition to individual weight brackets for those skill levels). IF TIME PERMITS - this will be an open call and we will try to accommodate. If we do not have time there will not be one. (with 3 mats I am optimistic)


4. - Volunteers - The volunteers will all receive a free shirt , snacks, and will obviously have free admission to watch the event (volunteers know who they are and have been contacted already). The referees are the only positions we are paying $$ (they have to put up with a lot of crap and have several years of grappling and competition experience) Each full time (all day) referee will get 100 bucks. Part time alternate and back up referees can have their registration paid as compensation. If you are a volunteer and wish to compete you must pay registration (unless you are a ref...no exceptions). We are trying to build the sport and are in a world class venue, new mats, huge medals, shirts, etc we are also giving away $2,500 bucks...which is more than any of the events like grapplers quest out there.


5. - competitors and prices
   
   • KIDS: pre-reg $20 (includes shirt) day of $25 (no shirt)
   
   
   • ADULTS pre-reg$40 (includes shirt) day of reg $45 (no shirt)


6. - Slight rule change - there will be no use of "advantages" which had been use to decide tied matches for more effort, etc. The reason for this is that we don’t have scoreboard to show them...we want everyone to know who won without having some other piece on a paper, etc.

(keep in mind . . . we will try our hardest to start at these times...cannot know for sure when they will end. - if you arrive day of . . . you will be allowed to register and compete if your bracket has not yet started)

9am - Doors open for same day pre-reg & weigh in

10am - Rules overview

10:15 - Kids and Beginners Begin

11 - Intermediates begin

12 - Advanced Begin

1 - Aggro (Open division for $$) will begin
