Official Rules
General rules
The use of a mouthpiece and a groin protector is required.
Ways to win
- By submission (physically tapping or verbally)
- Referee stoppage (TKO, cuts, broken limb, joint dislocation)
- Higher Points at the end of the match
- First point scored in sudden death overtime
- Disqualification
- Forfeit
The referee will be an experience submission fighter, he will not stop the fight if you look in pain and are grimacing. If however you let out a loud scream or he can physically see there is a break or dislocation in the joint, he may use judgment and stop the fight. (If you scream as if in pain, the ref may stop the fight). Please be smart and know when to tap.
Illegal Techniques
- No strikes of any kind
- No small joint or single digit (finger, etc)
- No pinching or twisting of the skin
- No putting fingers or hands in the eyes
- No windpipe attacks (grabbing the throat or clutching the trachea)
- No securing or using clothing in a submission (choking with shirt, etc)
- No slamming the opponent after the match is on the ground (high altitude takedowns are permitted)
Legal submissions
All chokes (except windpipe attacks mentioned above) are allowed.All joint locks (except small/single digit attacks mentioned above are allowed.

You must show clear control for 3 seconds in order to get points. If the fight is not stopped before the time runs out. Points will be used to determine the winner.
Sudden Death overtime
The sudden death overtime will happen in the event that the score is tied. In this round whichever fighter scores the first point will win the match.
Stalling
The referee will issue warnings for the 1st offense of stalling (i.e. backing out of the guard without engaging, butt scooting, fleeing the ring to avoid takedown/submission attempts). The second offense will result in a 2 point deduction. The third offense will result in a 3 pt deduction and a fourth offense will result in a disqualification.
